With over 20 years of experience in live theater and film as a creative generator, David Dabbon has built Candy Drawer LLC to guide projects from early development through full productions. David has experience as a Broadway and Off-broadway artist, working across the entire lifecycle of a show.  He is known for his collaborative approach, his ability to identify challenges early, and his commitment to work that balances strong craftsmanship with engaging entertainment.  A central part of the mission is also bringing more audiences to see live theater.

(CEO/Producer) David Dabbon is a producer and Broadway composer/arranger.  He earned an Emmy nomination for writing the music for the song “Eat Shit, Bob!”, which was for HBO’s Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.

 

His Broadway credits include: Oh, Mary!, Beetlejuice the musical, Funny Girl (revival), Sondheim on Sondheim, and Disaster!

David earned a Masters of Music from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Music from The Hartt School of Music
